Cruise 1.
Barnoldswick - Manchester.
April 13th - 20th
53 Miles, 43 Locks.
Canal - Leeds & Liverpool, Bridgewater
Station - Colne or Skipton.
Leaving our home base of Barnoldswick on the summit level of the Leeds and Liverpool canal, we will cruise westwards through the industrial heartland of East Lancashire, towards the mighty Wigan flight, always challenging, but rewarding at the same time. We join the Bridgewater canal and cruise through Worsley, the birthplace of modern canals to moor in Castlefield in the heart of the fabulous vibrant city of Manchester.

Cruise 2.
Manchester - Kidsgrove.
April 20th - 27th
46 Miles, 55 Locks.
Canal - Rochdale, Ashton, Peak Forest, Macclesfield, Trent & Mersey.
Station - Manchester.

There will be a half a day to explore the fabulous city of Manchester with it’s many museums and shops. We will climb the Rochdale 9 locks to join the Ashton canal. A busy day of 18 locks on the Ashton flight takes us to Portland basin, where we will join the Peak Forest canal. Still climbing we will arrive in Marple and make a short detour to explore the fascinating Bugsworth basin, a must for those interested in canal history. We will retrace our steps to Marple and join the Macclesfield canal, cruising the entire length of this lovely rural canal to join the Trent and Mersey canal at Kidsgrove.

Cruise 3.
Kidsgrove - Coventry
April 30th-May 7th
72Miles,37 Locks.
Canals - Trent & Mersey, Coventry.
Station - Kidsgrove.
Leaving Kidsgrove we will cruise through the Harecastle tunnel, this is always a good experience as you recall the effort of the canal navigators. Cruising the Trent and Mersey through Stoke and Stone, we will on this occasion pass the elegant junction bridge at Great Heywood. At Fradley, one of the loveliest canal junctions, we will turn onto the Coventry canal cruising through Atherstone to end this cruise in Coventry basin, where the wonderful statue of James Brindley reminds us again of the history of our waterways.

Cruise 4.
Coventry - Fenny Stratford.
May 8th - 14th (6 nights)

65 Miles, 25 Locks.
Canals - Coventry, North Oxford, Grand Union.
Station - Coventry.
From Coventry we will retrace our route to Hawkesbury Junction, Sutton Stop to the boatmen, where we will turn onto the North Oxford canal. A mainly rural canal, which we will cruise to Braunston Turn where we will join the Grand Union canal. We will ascend Braunston locks and then descend Buckby locks, passing through Braunston and Blisworth tunnels. There will be time to explore Stoke Bruerne, which is a truly wonderful canal village. We will then carry on through the surprisingly rural outskirts of Milton Keynes, with time to visit the beautiful Peace Pagoda, in May the blossom should be stunning. The cruise will end in Fenny Stratford.

Cruise 5.
Fenny Stratford - Paddington.
May 14th - 21st
60 Miles, 56 Locks.
Canals - Grand Union.
Station- Fenny Stratford.
This cruise follows the Grand Union right into the heart of London. We will leave Fenny and cruise southwards through Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead, Rickmansworth and Uxbridge. At Bulls Bridge, once an important canal centre we turn and join the Paddington arm of the canal, cruising through the outskirts of London to end the cruise in the fabulous Paddington basin.

Cruise 6.
Paddington - Aylesbury .
May 25th - 1st June
85 Miles, 37 Locks.
Canals - Grand Union.
Station - Paddington.

A reverse of cruise 5 as far as Marsworth Junction, where we will turn onto the Aylesbury arm, descending the lovely narrow locks to Aylesbury basin, where this cruise will end.

Cruise 7.
Aylesbury - Rugby
June 1st - 8th
68 Miles, 57 Locks.
Canals - Grand Union, North Oxford.
Station - Aylesbury.

Climbing back up the locks we will rejoin the Grand Union at Marsworth, Maffers to the boatmen and continue up the Grand Union to Braunston (see cruise 4 for details), we will then join the North Oxford canal and cruise to Rugby where this cruise will end.

Rugby - Oxford.
June 8th - 15th
64 Miles, 42 Locks.
Canals - North Oxford, Oxford.
Station - Rugby.
Leaving Rugby we will retrace our steps to Braunston Turn , where we will turn right and cruise the Oxford canal, ascending Napton locks to the summit, following the twists ant turns, before descending the locks through Cropredy and Banbury to the city of dreaming spires where this cruise ends.

Cruise 9.
Oxford - Warwick.
June 18th - 25th
63 Miles, 63 Locks.
Canals - Oxford, Grand Union.
Station - Oxford.

A reverse of cruise 9 to Wigrams Turn where we will turn onto the Grand Union Canal, cruising through Long Itchington and Leamington Spa to Warwick where the cruise will end in the Saltisford Arm.

Cruise 10.
Warwick - Birmingham.
June 25th - July 2nd
66 Miles, 62 Locks.
Canals - Grand Union, BCN
Station - Warwick.
Leaving Warwick we will climb the staircase to heaven, the mighty Hatton Flight. We will cruise into Birmingham on the Grand Union, and then spend a few days exploring the BCN. The cruise will end in the centre of the fabulous city of Birmingham.

Cruise 11.
Birmingham - Worcester.
July 4th - 11th
61 Miles, 71 Locks.
Canals-BCN, Staffs & Worcs, Severn, Droitwich, Worcs & Birmingham.
Station-Birmingham.
We will leave Birmingham by travelling through Netherton tunnel, and via Delph locks to join the Staffs and Worcester canal. We will then cruise to Stourport to join the river Severn, turning onto the Droitwich canals. When we reach Hanbury we will turn right and cruise into the beautiful Cathedral city of Worcester.

Cruise 12.
Worcester - Stafford.
July 11th - 18th
63 Miles, 91 Locks.
Canals -Worcester & Birmingham, BCN, Staffs & Worcs.
Station-Worcester.
Leaving Worcester we will cruise towards Hanbury, and carry on to climb the mighty Tardebigge flight of narrow locks, cruising all the way into Birmingham. We will moor in Dudley with a chance to visit the Black Country museum before descending the Wolverhampton flight to join the Staffs and Worcester canal cruising through Penkridge to Stafford where this cruise will end.
